The Philodendron Painted Lady is said to be a hybrid of two Philodendrons: the Erubescens Emerald Queen Plant and the Erubescens Burgundy Plant.

In Greek, "Philo" means "love" and "Dendron" means "tree," which explains why this plant is considered a tree-hugger. When outdoors, the plant grows up trees, but indoors can grow up with the assistance of a pole for support.

The Painted Lady is often hung in a hanging basket to create a lovely hanging arrangement in your home!

Our Shipping Process

We provide next-day local delivery for all orders received in the Cincinnati, Ohio area (for orders received Sunday - Thursday). Orders received over the weekend will be delivered Monday afternoon.

We offer two-day shipping nationwide on all orders outside the Cincinnati area. All orders received Friday - Sunday will be shipped first thing Monday morning.

We do everything we can to ensure your plant will arrive safely to you. We place wood or paper fibers between the soil and foliage to prevent the soil from spilling. A plastic bag and zip-tie are used to secure your plant, and then we wrap your plant in packing paper before placing it in the box to travel to you!
