Shipping

We work with USPS, FedEx, and UPS to get your plant order to you as quickly as possible. Most plants are shipped one or two days after you order them, and whenever possible we use two-day shipping. If there are any unforeseen delays in processing or shipping your order, we'll be sure to reach out to you as soon as possible. Our entire goal is getting your plant to you as quickly and safely as we can!

Travelling across the country isn't the best for plants, so we do all we can to ensure your plant will arrive safely. We place wood fiber between the soil and foliage to prevent the soil from spilling. A plastic bag and zip-tie are used to secure your plant, and then we wrap your plant in a paper bag and rubber band before placing it in the box to travel to you!

A heat pack, you can just toss it! If you live in a colder climate, we'll include a heat pack in your order to keep your plant warm and safe as it travels to you.

First things first, you should celebrate! Take a photo and tag The Plant Dads on social media! Maybe even do a little dance!

In all seriousness, carefully remove the packaging so that your plant can be set free. It's just gone through quite the adventure to get to you! We use wooden shavings to keep the soil in place while traveling, and that should be removed so that your plant can breathe again.

Preferably, no. We know it's exciting to dress your new plant up in a fancy pot, but give it a couple weeks to adjust to its new home. Some water is probably a good idea when you first get your plant, other than that it just needs to relax and adjust to its new surroundings.

Absolutely not! Some folks actually prefer the nursery pots that the plants arrive in. They're totally fine to use as your plants' pot. Just make sure to keep an eye on your plant eventually outgrowing the nursery pot.

We don't have tracking numbers for orders placed locally as we deliver your package ourselves. Typically, we deliver orders in the afternoon, but if there is a time that works better for you, send us a message and lets us know!

Orders received Sunday through Thursday will be delivered the following day. In some cases, if an order is received early enough in the day, we can even deliver your order the same day!

All local orders received over the weekend will be delivered Monday afternoon!

As we are exclusively an online greenhouse, we do not have a physical retail location. All of our plants are just as beautiful as they look in the pictures though, and if you have any issues at all we'll exchange or refund your order, no questions asked! We're pretty confident that when you receive your plant, you won't have any complaints though!

Send us a message right away! Occasionally, plants can get bent stems or other minor damage from their journey to your home. You shouldn't stress too much about that, and can prune off damaged areas. If you have an issue though, please don't hesitate to contact us!
