The Red Prayer Plant, also known as the Maranta Plant, is a lovely plant with pink or red streaks along its leaves. Native to tropical rainforests, the plant produces flowers in its natural environment but rarely does when grown indoors.

The plant gets its name because the leaves have a tendency to form a prayer position around dusk.

Keep the plant away from vents as the plant is used to tropical conditions and doesn't much care for drafty conditions.

Our Shipping Process

We provide free next-day local delivery for all orders received in the Cincinnati, Ohio area (for orders received Sunday - Thursday). Orders received over the weekend will be delivered Monday afternoon.

We offer free two-day shipping nationwide on all orders outside the Cincinnati area. All orders received Friday - Sunday will be shipped first thing Monday morning.

We do everything we can to ensure your plant will arrive safely to you. We place wood or paper fibers between the soil and foliage to prevent the soil from spilling. A plastic bag and zip-tie are used to secure your plant, and then we wrap your plant in packing paper before placing it in the box to travel to you!
